I talk a lot about dewy, highlighted, glow, glass and overall good-looking skin, just like a glazed donut, on my Instagram. I put emphasis on it this much as it makes your skin look more awakened, refreshed, and gives an all-time post-holiday glow effect. Even though its always about the face makeup first, we often neglect our body makeup and how we need to balance the glow overall.
If you're highlighting your face on the most prominent parts, then you also need to do that to the body. Personally, I prefer giving the body an overall glow and then highlighting the highest/ most prominent parts of the body for the glow to pop. Let me guide you how.

Start by using any moisturising lotion, and mixing a liquid illuminator into it. This is how you create a hydrating body glow of your choice. Apply this all over your neck and shoulders simply, and to whichever part of your body that is being seen the most in your outfit. Since its a moisturising liquid you've made, it spreads easily whilst hydrating the skin. I like using the Marc Jacobs Dew Drops Highlighter (which I've heard is now discontinued) for this as its pigmented yet has a wonderful golden glow. Once applied, take the same liquid highlighter or another one (to add dimension) with a brush and apply it only on areas where the light hits the most. I like using the Iconic London liquid illuminator in Original for this step. Blend that well and watch your body glow up! It's so easy, but this makes your body highlight look natural yet effective. Creamy and liquid products look better when layered correctly.
