Rescue Your Skin with Hydration

Does your skin feel tight and dry despite all this excess oil being produced? Yup, then you may have dehydrated skin! By definition, "hydration" is the process of causing something to absorb water, and in this case the "something" is our skin. Just as our bodies need water to function, our skin needs water to look and feel its best! There are some things that REALLY work to hydrate your skin but it all starts with the right skincare (apart from 8 glasses of water a day, obviously).
HYDRATING EYE CREAM
A creamy and nourishing hydrating eye cream (also suitable for sensitive skin) which is made of avocado oil, beta-carotene and shea butter. Since avocado oil carries omega essential fatty acids, it moisturises, nourishes and softens. Beta-carotene is an anti-oxidant which is naturally derived and found in carrots, essential in Vitamin A production. Shea butter helps defend dehydration, restore suppleness and improve appearance of dry skin (and dry skin causes fine lines & wrinkles). This eye cream specifically moisturises and hydrates the skin around the under eyes, but its quite creamy in texture so you must rub it between your fingers for a few seconds to warm it up and then apply it gently with your ring finger. You could even use it as a 5-minute eye mask by lathering the cream in a thicker layer, and then wiping off any excess residue. You don't need to wipe it off if you like the skin to absorb the cream over a few minutes (which is usually my personal preference). I find this cream highly moisturising and refreshing, whilst knowing that its beneficial and packed with some super ingredients!

HYDRATING MOISTURISER
It's a water-gel and oil-free moisturizer that instantly quenches dry skin, and gets absorbed quickly to provide instant hydration. Since it contains hyaluronic acid, it claims to absorb up to 1,000 times its weight in water. Hyaluronic acid is known to retain water to keep your skin tissues well lubricated and moist. It's oil-free so you could wear it under your makeup or even on its own after your moisturizer but before your sunscreen/sunblock. It's also non-comedogenic so it doesn't clog your pores. It is almost like a pick-me-up for my skin as it makes my skin feel very well-hydrated, like I've given water to my skin. Now, it's become a part of my daily skin routine, and I feel less tighter and dry on the face!

HYDRATING FACE MASK & CLEANSER
It's a dual-action buttery and luxurious cream which acts as a face mask and cleanser for deyhydrated skin, and that's exactly what justifies the value of this product! It gently cleanses and feeds essential nutrients to the skin to give instant relief to your dehydration, as well as giving it a boost of radiance (great for dull, lacklustre skin). The advanced stem cell technology helps protect skin against future damage and environmental stress. I prefer using it as a mask on the face and neck after applying a thick layer all over and cleaning it off after 15-20 minutes with a gentle cloth. The skin feels soft, supple and hydrated. The hydration lasts for the day but you have to hydrate with a cream/gel post masking in order to maintain the hydration levels of the skin. I would go to this product for instant hydration but not for long-term hydration! (Long-term hydration also starts from within with the right diet and water intake!!) The ingredients make you want to use this product more in order to reap its benefits. It's made of Marula oil, Coconut Oil and Cocoa butter, so you can only imagine how good it is for you!
